Abstract

Today, the United States plays a leading role in world politics, being the only superpower. Recently, however, China has been approaching it by seven miles. At the beginning of the 21st century, bilateral economic exchanges between the United States and China are becoming active. They intensified as China joined the WTO and removed barriers to trade growth. At the time, China was seen as an important economic and trade partner for America. In modern international politics, China and the United States are the largest countries with strong geopolitical influence. These relations attract the most attention among the relations between the great powers, their changes and development significantly affect the international structure and changes in the world political arena. The world order, economic development and the general configuration of the system of international relations depend on the foreign policy relations of the United States of America and China. In this case, we mean a new polarity or polyzentrism as the basic principles of reciprocity between the United States and China. We can see bursts of rapid intervention in Chinese politics. To date, Chinese scholars distinguish three types of such relationships. First of all, these are media wars – a certain coverage of events taking place in the domestic policy of the state. Secondly, it is communication between China and other countries. Third, these are the legal aspects of interstate relations, meaning relations between China and the United States. Of course, China hopes that the United States will give up its leadership position. Some scholars are inclined to the view that in this case, the United States may resort to the use of force, which will deprive China of leadership positions. In this case, we must not forget that China has the opportunity to play in the information war with the help of the Russian Federation, which is also a continuation of the latent phase of the Cold War between Russia and the United States. Although Russia is also China’s closest competitor in absolutely all areas.
