Abstract

XXI century is called “the global migration era”, as the quantity of people who live and work in the foreign for them countries, is rising every year. Firstly, it is connected with the globalization of the world economy, the opening-up policy of the most countries, the crossboarders movements’ simplification and the capability to cover it financially. This article describes the migration flows, determines the impact of migration on the economy of the recipient country and donor country, particularly, on its labor market, the wage level and on the global economy in general; identifies the role of Chinese knowledge workers in the migration processes.
